.6.28内核，3945网卡使用iwl3945驱动和compat-wireless破解无线的问题

3945abg无线网卡，Kernel 2.6.28（非BT4系统，因为一直用Linux，不想再搞个BT4），现在系统自带的驱动是iwl3945，默认已安装软件包：iwlwifi-3945-ucode(版本15.28.1.6)、libnl和libnl-devel（版本1.1）
lsmod显示进程中已存在如下模块：
iwl3945
rfkill
mac80***11
cfg80***11
据aircrack官网说，从内核2.6.24开始，iwl3945已经包含在内核中；从2.6.25开始支持注入，并且从2.6.27开始就不须特别的补丁了。就是下面这侧面说明：
Starting with 2.6.24, the driver is included in the kernel. Injection requires 2.6.25 or later. The compat-wireless-old package must be installed and patched to get injection support on 2.6.25 and 2.6.26. For 2.6.27 and newer, no special patch is needed, follow the common instructions for mac80***11.
现在想用aircrack + iwl3945驱动来破解无线（以前一直是用ipwraw驱动来破解的），自己已安装了iw，通过airmon-ng start wlan0可以开启mon0**接口。
现在还有几个疑问没搞清楚：
1、compat-wireless（兼容无线驱动）的作用，到底是用来完全替换iwl3945的，还是只是iwl3945的一个补丁？
2、如果安装compat-wireless是用来完全替换iwl3945的，那compat-wireless除了支持破解功能，平常能用来上网吗？
3、现在内核是2.6.28，要有注入功能和碎片攻击功能，是否一定需要使用compat-wireless，以及打fragmentation补丁？
4、个人理解，从内核2.6.27开始，fragmentation碎片攻击补丁既可以打在compat-wireless上，也可以打在ipw3945上。这点有没理解错呢？
5、安装iw后接着应该怎么做，还要安装哪些软件呢？（不想自己编译内核）
